Give yourself a break and come enjoy the Autumn in Eindhoven.
Date & Meetup Location
Oct 24, 2021, 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Stadswandelpark Eindhoven, meeting in the corner next to Parktheater
About this event
Autumn is starting.
The cold mornings contrast with the warm colours painting the trees. The parks' paths are lined with tall oaks, beeches, conifers and willows. A tall chestnut tree stands apart from the crowd.
Fallen acorns cover the ground, more than the red squirrels, jackdaws, and field mice can harvest. Some bright berries still linger in the shrubs, attracting wild birds which feed before the winter arrives.
Inspired by the changing seasons, we will keep our eyes (and ears) open for wild birds, squirrels, mushrooms and much more. Even if animals are shy, we might discover some signs of their presence.
Why not give yourself a break and come enjoy nature in Eindhoven.
Practicalities:
- The meeting point is in the park's corner closer to Parktheater (51.428228, 5.482424).
- This walk is open for 10 persons (subject to on the government regulations at that time).
- You will be guided by Nuno, an experienced and enthusiastic urban wildlife ecologist, which will share all his nature stories with you!
- Dress according to the weather and, if you have, bring your binoculars and/or photo camera (not mandatory).
Looking forward to meet you there!
Let's enjoy the city's nature.
